Setup

1. Unboxing and Component Check

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed below are present:

• MiXXAR S167 Drone
• Remote Control
• Battery (included)
• Charging Cable
• Spare Propellers
• User Manual (this document)

If any components are missing or damaged, contact customer support.

2. Battery Installation and Charging

The drone requires a 1300 Milliamp Hours Lithium battery. The remote control requires 1 AA battery (included).

1. Insert the drone battery into its compartment.
2. Insert the AA battery into the remote control.
3. Charge the drone battery fully before first use. Refer to the charging cable instructions for details.

3. Remote Control and Drone Pairing

Follow these steps to pair the remote control with the drone:

1. Power on the drone. The drone's lights will blink.
2. Power on the remote controller. You will hear a beeping sound.
3. The drone's front lights will turn solid, and its back lights will blink slowly. The first light on the remote controller will turn solid, indicating successful pairing.

4. Gyroscope Calibration

Calibrate the gyroscope for stable flight:

1. After pairing, long press the "One Key Gyroscope Calibration" button on the remote control.
2. You will hear a beeping sound. The drone's front lights will turn solid, and its back lights will blink slowly, indicating successful gyroscope calibration.

5. Geomagnetism Calibration

Perform geomagnetism calibration for accurate GPS functionality:

1. Press the "One Key Geomagnetism Calibration" button on the remote control.
2. You will hear a beeping sound. The drone's front and back lights will blink quickly.
3. Horizontally rotate the drone clockwise for 3-5 circles.
4. You will hear another beep. The drone's four lights will blink slowly.
5. Vertically rotate the drone with its camera facing downward, clockwise for 3-5 circles.
6. When the remote control beeps again, and the drone's front lights turn solid with its back lights blinking slowly, the calibration is successful.

6. GPS Satellite Search

For outdoor flight, ensure GPS signal is acquired:

1. After successful geomagnetism calibration, the drone will begin searching for satellites.
2. Within 1-3 minutes, you will hear a beeping sound from the remote controller. The third light on the remote controller will turn off from quick blinking.
3. The drone's front and back lights will turn solid.
4. Check the companion app (if installed) for at least 10 satellites shown on the screen. This indicates successful GPS satellite acquisition.

Operating Instructions

1. Take-off and Landing

1. Unlock Propellers: Press the "Unlock" button on the remote control. The propellers will rotate at a low speed.
2. Take-off: Toggle the throttle joystick (left joystick) upwards to initiate take-off.
3. One Key Take-off/Landing: The drone features a "One Key Take-off/Landing" button for simplified operation. Press this button to automatically take off or land.

2. Basic Flight Controls

Familiarize yourself with the remote control joysticks:

• Left Joystick: Controls ascent (push up), descent (push down), left turning (push left), and right turning (push right).
• Right Joystick: Controls forward (push up), backward (push down), right sideward (push right), and left sideward (push left).

3. Camera Operation

The drone is equipped with a 4K HD camera with a 120° wide angle lens.

• Camera Upward Adjustment: Press the "Camera Upward Adjustment" button on the remote control to tilt the camera upwards.
• Camera Downward Adjustment: Press the "Camera Downward Adjustment" button on the remote control to tilt the camera downwards.
• Photo/Video: Use the dedicated photo/video button on the remote control (or via the app) to capture images and record videos.

4. Special Flight Modes

• Altitude Hold: The powerful air pressure altitude hold function allows for stable flight, enabling you to release the throttle stick while maintaining altitude.
• GPS Return Home: Press the "One Key Return" button. The drone will beep, and the fourth light on the remote control will blink quickly. The aircraft will return to its home point before landing.
• Follow Me: This feature allows the drone to automatically follow the remote controller or a designated subject (details available in the companion app).
• Gesture Control: Control the drone with specific hand gestures for taking photos or videos (details available in the companion app).
• Circle Fly: The drone can fly in a circular path around a designated point (details available in the companion app).

5. APP Operation

The drone can be controlled via a dedicated mobile application:

1. Download App: Scan the QR code provided in the user manual (or product packaging) to download and install the compatible app (e.g., HR_GPS).
2. Connect Wi-Fi: Turn on your phone's Wi-Fi and connect to the drone's network (e.g., HF_GPS_31d51d).
3. Launch App: Open the app and mount your phone to the remote control holder to start the flight interface.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your drone.

• Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for damage (cracks, bends). Replace damaged propellers immediately using spare parts.
• Battery Care:
  • Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • If not used for extended periods, charge batteries to about 50% capacity.
• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone body and camera lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the drone in a safe, dry place, preferably in its original packaging or a protective case.
