Setup

Follow these steps to set up your SONICAKE Sonic Wood pedal:

1. Power Connection: Connect the included 9V DC power adapter (center negative, 500mA) to the "DC 9V" input jack on the pedal. Ensure the power source is stable.

2. Instrument Input: Connect your acoustic guitar to the "IN" 1/4-inch input jack on the right side of the pedal.

3. Output Connection (1/4-inch): Connect the "OUT" 1/4-inch jack to your acoustic amplifier or another pedal in your signal chain.
4. XLR Output Connection: For direct connection to a PA system, mixer, or audio interface, use the "XLR OUT" balanced output on the left side of the pedal.

Operating Instructions

The Sonic Wood pedal features four main effects, each with dedicated controls and footswitches.

1. Preamp Section

The analog preamp recreates the warm, natural sound of a classic acoustic guitar amplifier. It includes a 2-band EQ for tone shaping.

• VOL: Adjusts the overall output volume of the preamp.
• BASS: Controls the low-frequency response.
• TREB: Controls the high-frequency response.

Press the rightmost footswitch to engage or bypass the Preamp effect.

2. Chorus Section

The high-quality Chorus effect adds richness and depth to your acoustic tone.

• LEVEL: Adjusts the mix level of the chorus effect.
• DEPTH: Controls the intensity of the chorus modulation.
• RATE: Adjusts the speed of the chorus modulation.

Press the second footswitch from the right to engage or bypass the Chorus effect.

Tap Tempo: Hold down the Chorus footswitch for 2 seconds to enter Tap Tempo mode. Tap the footswitch multiple times to set the desired modulation rate. Hold again to exit.

3. Delay Section

The analog-voiced Delay effect provides organic repeats for various playing scenarios.

• BLEND: Adjusts the mix level of the delayed signal.
• REPEAT: Controls the number of repeats (feedback).
• TIME: Adjusts the delay time between repeats.

Press the second footswitch from the left to engage or bypass the Delay effect.

Tap Tempo: Hold down the Delay footswitch for 2 seconds to enter Tap Tempo mode. Tap the footswitch multiple times to set the desired delay time. Hold again to exit.

4. Reverb Section

The Reverb effect adds spaciousness and ambiance to your sound. It is designed to be easy to control yet powerful.

• MIX: Adjusts the mix level of the reverb effect.

Press the leftmost footswitch to engage or bypass the Reverb effect.

Tail On/Off: Hold down the Reverb footswitch for 2 seconds to toggle the Tail function. When Tail is ON, the reverb trails naturally even after bypassing the effect, creating a smooth transition.

Maintenance

• No Sound:
