3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the machine from its packaging.
- Remove all packing materials and protective films.
- Place the machine on a stable, level surface.
3.2 Initial Preparation
- Fill the Water Tank: Remove the water tank, rinse it, and fill it with fresh tap water up to the MAX level. Reinsert the tank securely.
- Fill the Bean Container: Open the lid of the bean container (1) and pour fresh coffee beans into it. Ensure the lid is closed properly.
- Plug In and Power On: Connect the power cord to the machine and a suitable power outlet. Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the machine.
- Rinse Cycle: The machine will perform an automatic rinse cycle. Place a container under the coffee spouts to collect the water.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Making Espresso or Coffee
- Ensure the water tank is filled and the bean container has sufficient coffee beans.
- Place one or two cups under the adjustable coffee outlet (3).
- Press the desired coffee button (e.g., Espresso, Long Coffee). The machine will grind the beans, brew, and dispense the coffee.
- To customize aroma, press the aroma button before selecting your drink. To adjust quantity, press and hold the coffee button until the desired amount is dispensed, then release.
4.2 Using Pre-Ground Coffee
- Open the lid of the pre-ground coffee compartment (part of 1).
- Add one level scoop of pre-ground coffee. Do not add more than one scoop.
- Select your desired coffee beverage. The machine will use the pre-ground coffee.
4.3 Manual Milk Frother (Cappuccinatore)
- Fill a pitcher with cold milk (preferably skimmed or semi-skimmed) to about one-third full.
- Position the steam wand of the manual milk frother (2) into the milk.
- Turn the steam dial to activate the frother. Move the pitcher up and down to create creamy foam.
- Once desired foam is achieved, turn off the steam dial. Clean the frother immediately after use.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your coffee machine.
5.1 Drip Tray Cleaning
- The drip tray collects excess water and coffee residue. Empty and clean it regularly.
- For optimal hygiene, the drip tray can be placed in the dishwasher for cleaning.
5.2 Brewing Unit Cleaning
- The removable brewing unit (4) should be cleaned monthly or as indicated by the machine.
- Switch off the machine and unplug it.

- Rinse the brewing unit under running water. Do not use detergents.
- Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
