3. Setup

3.1 Initial Cleaning

  1. Remove all packaging materials and labels from the coffee maker.
  2. Wash the removable drip tray, K-Cup capsule holder, and reusable ground coffee filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.

3.2 First Use (Rinsing Cycle)

Before brewing coffee for the first time, perform a rinsing cycle to clean the internal components.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the 14 oz mark.
  2. Place an empty mug on the drip tray.
  3. Close the brew chamber lid without inserting any K-Cup or ground coffee filter.
  4. Press the power button to turn on the machine.
  5. Select the 14 oz brew size.
  6. Press the "Capsule" or "Ground" button to start the rinsing cycle. Hot water will dispense into the mug.

  9. Once brewing is complete, the light will turn off, and the machine will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.
  10. Carefully remove and discard the used K-Cup capsule.

4.2 Brewing with Ground Coffee

  1. Ensure the coffee maker is plugged in and the power is on.
  2. Lift the lid of the brew chamber.
  3. Insert the reusable ground coffee filter basket into the brew chamber.
  4. Add your desired amount of ground coffee into the filter basket. Do not overfill.
  5. Close the lid firmly until it clicks.
  6. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to your desired brew size (6, 8, 10, 12, or 14 oz).

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

5.1 Daily Cleaning
