Assembly is required for this product. It is recommended to have two adults for assembly. Please follow the steps below carefully.
Step 1: Unpack and Identify Components
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Identify each part using the provided parts list (if included in your package).

Step 3: Install Daybed Slats
Place the wooden slats across the daybed frame. Secure them in place according to the instructions in your hardware pack. Ensure even spacing for optimal mattress support.
Step 4: Assemble the Trundle Frame
Assemble the trundle bed frame separately, attaching its side rails and end pieces. Install the trundle slats in the same manner as the daybed slats.

Operating Instructions
Using the Daybed
The main daybed functions as a standard twin-sized bed or a sofa. Place a twin mattress (8-10 inches thick recommended) on the slats. The sturdy frame provides stable support for sleeping or lounging.

Extending the Trundle Bed
To use the trundle bed, gently pull the trundle frame out from underneath the main daybed. The wheels allow for smooth extension. Ensure the trundle is fully extended and stable before use. Place a twin mattress (up to 6 inches thick recommended) on the trundle slats.

Retracting the Trundle Bed
To store the trundle, remove any bedding that might obstruct its movement. Gently push the trundle frame back underneath the main daybed until it is fully nested. Ensure it is completely pushed in to prevent tripping hazards.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the daybed frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish. For mattresses, follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions.
Regular Checks
Periodically inspect all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten any loose hardware to maintain the stability and safety of the daybed. Check the trundle wheels for smooth operation and clear any debris that may hinder movement.
Troubleshooting
- Squeaking Noises: Check all bolts and screws for tightness. Re-tighten any loose connections. Ensure slats are properly seated and not rubbing against the frame.
- Trundle Not Sliding Smoothly: Inspect the trundle wheels for any obstructions (e.g., dust, hair). Clean the wheels and the track area. Ensure the trundle frame is not warped or damaged.
- Wobbly Frame: This usually indicates loose hardware. Re-check and tighten all bolts and screws on both the daybed and trundle frames. Ensure the daybed is placed on a level surface.
- Missing or Damaged Parts: If you discover missing or damaged parts during assembly, do not proceed. Contact KLMM customer support immediately for assistance.
