- Design Your Project:
- Open Cricut Design Space.
- Start a new project or select a ready-to-make project.
- Customize your design using text, shapes, images, and fonts.
- Ensure your design fits within the maximum cutting area for your chosen material (e.g., 4.5 inches wide for Smart Materials).
- Prepare for Cutting/Writing:
- Click "Make It" in Design Space.
- Select your material load type (Without Mat, On Mat, or Card Mat).
- Review the project preview screen. If using Smart Materials, ensure the design is oriented correctly.

- Unloading Materials:

Maintenance

- Cleaning the Machine:

- Reinsert the blade housing into the clamp until it clicks into place.

- Keep mats covered with the clear protective sheet when not in use to prevent dust and debris accumulation.
- If a mat loses its stickiness, gently clean it with warm water and mild soap, then air dry. Avoid scrubbing.
- Replace mats when they no longer hold material securely.
