4. Operating Instructions (Game Play)

Rhino Hero Junior offers three different cooperative games, all focused on building a tall tower for Rhino Hero Junior. Players win together by successfully placing Rhino Hero Junior on the highest roof.

4.1. Game 1: Stacking and Sorting (Basic)

  • Objective: Build the tower by stacking floors in ascending numerical order.
  • Setup: Place the game board. Place the floor piece with number 1 on the designated spot. Place Rhino Hero Junior on top of floor 1.
  • Gameplay:
    1. Players take turns drawing a roof card.
    2. The roof card indicates which numbered floor piece to place next.
    3. Carefully place the indicated floor piece on top of the previous one, ensuring stability.
    4. Move Rhino Hero Junior to the newly placed floor.
    5. Continue stacking until all floors are used or the tower collapses.
  • Winning: Players win if they successfully place Rhino Hero Junior on the roof of the highest floor without the tower collapsing.

4.2. Game 2: Stacking with Spider Monkey

  • Objective: Similar to Game 1, but with an added challenge from the Spider Monkey.
  • Setup: Same as Game 1, but also place the Spider Monkey figure near the game board.
  • Gameplay:
    1. When a player draws a roof card with a Spider Monkey symbol, they must place the Spider Monkey figure on the current highest floor before placing the next floor.
    2. The Spider Monkey adds weight and makes stacking more challenging.
    3. Continue as in Game 1.
  • Winning: Players win if they successfully place Rhino Hero Junior on the roof of the highest floor without the tower collapsing, even with the Spider Monkey's presence.

4.3. Game 3: Memory Stacking

  • Objective: Build the tower while remembering the order of roof cards.
  • Setup: Same as Game 1, but place the roof cards face down in a grid pattern instead of a draw pile.
  • Gameplay:
    1. Players take turns flipping over two roof cards.
    2. If the cards match the next required floor number, the player places that floor and moves Rhino Hero Junior.
    3. If they don't match, the cards are flipped back face down, and the next player takes a turn.
    4. This game adds a memory element to the stacking challenge.
  • Winning: Players win if they successfully place Rhino Hero Junior on the roof of the highest floor by correctly matching and placing all floors.
