1. Introduction

Team up with legendary dinosaurs as a member of the elite DinoSquad! Harness the extraordinary force of the greatest dinosaurs of all and blast into amazing adventures! The Nerf DinoSquad Rex-Rampage blaster features an awesome dinosaur design, capturing the look of a Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur. This motorized dart blaster allows you to fire darts fast by powering up the motor and pulling the trigger. It comes with a 10-dart clip and 20 Official Nerf Elite foam darts, with onboard 10-dart storage to keep backup firepower nearby for reloads. A non-removable targeting scope is included to help line up your shots.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Do not aim at eyes or face. Use of eyewear is recommended for players and people within range. Use only official Nerf darts. Other darts may not meet safety standards. Do not modify darts or blaster. WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts may be generated. Not for children under 3 years.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The Nerf DinoSquad Rex-Rampage blaster requires 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included) for motorized operation. To install the batteries, locate the battery compartment, typically on the side or bottom of the blaster. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to open the compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and then securely close the compartment.

4.2. Dart Loading

  1. Load the 10-Dart Clip: Insert Official Nerf Elite foam darts into the 10-dart clip. Ensure the darts are inserted correctly with the colored tip facing forward. The clip can hold up to 10 darts.

  1. Insert the Clip: Push the loaded 10-dart clip firmly into the blaster's magazine well until it clicks into place.

  1. Utilize Onboard Storage: The blaster features onboard storage for 10 additional darts on the stock. This allows for quick access to backup darts during play.

5. Operating the Blaster

  1. Power Up the Motor: Hold down the acceleration button (usually located below the main trigger) to power up the blaster's motor. You will hear a whirring sound indicating the motor is ready.
  2. Aim: Use the non-removable targeting scope to aim at your target.
  3. Fire Darts: While holding the acceleration button, pull the main trigger to fire darts rapidly.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Clearing Dart Jams

In the event of a dart jam, the blaster is equipped with an access door to clear obstructions. Locate the jam clearing door on the side of the blaster. Open the door to access the internal mechanism and carefully remove any jammed darts. Ensure the door is securely closed before attempting to fire the blaster again, as the motor will not engage if the door is open.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Blaster not firing or motor not engaging:
    • Ensure 4 AA alkaline batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
    • Verify that the jam clearing door on the side of the blaster is fully closed. The blaster will not operate if this door is open.
    • Confirm the 10-dart clip is fully inserted into the magazine well until it clicks.
    • Make sure the acceleration button is held down while pulling the main trigger.
  • Darts are not launching effectively:
    • Check for any jammed darts in the barrel or mechanism via the access door.
    • Ensure only Official Nerf Elite foam darts are used, as other darts may not perform optimally.
    • Replace old or damaged darts with new ones.
