Setup and Initial Preparation

  1. Unfolding the Wheelchair:

    Carefully unfold the wheelchair by following the quick-release mechanism. Ensure all locking points are securely engaged. The Rubicon DX01 features a 3-second folding mechanism for rapid deployment.

  2. Attaching Footrests:

    Attach the footrests to the designated slots. Ensure they are securely locked in place. The footrests are collapsible for easier user transfer.

    The joystick controller can be positioned on either the left or right armrest for user convenience. Connect it securely to the wheelchair's electrical system.

Operating Instructions

  1. Powering On/Off:

    Press the power button on the joystick controller to turn the wheelchair on or off. An indicator light will confirm the power status.

  2. Driving with the Joystick:

    Gently push the joystick in the desired direction to move. Push forward to go forward, pull back to reverse, and move left or right to steer. The joystick is sensitive; practice in an open area to become familiar with its response. Speed can be adjusted via controls on the joystick panel.

  3. Braking:

    The Rubicon DX01 features an intelligent electromagnetic brake system. Simply release the joystick, and the wheelchair will automatically come to a smooth stop. This system provides comprehensive security protection on various terrains, including inclines and declines.

  4. Navigating Different Terrains:

    The DX01 is designed for all-terrain use, capable of handling grass, gravel, mud, brick roads, and even bumpy surfaces. Its robust motor and high-quality rubber tires provide superior traction.
