Setup
Battery Installation
- Unscrew the tailcap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert one 14500 Li-ion battery or one AA alkaline/NiMH battery into the flashlight body with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
- Screw the tailcap back on clockwise until it is fully tightened. Ensure it is snug to maintain water resistance.
Operating Instructions
The TrustFire Mini L2 Flashlight features two main operating modes: Turbo and Low. These modes are accessed by adjusting the tightness of the flashlight head.
Mode 1: Turbo Mode (High Brightness)
- To activate Turbo mode, ensure the flashlight head is screwed on firmly.
- Press the tailcap button to turn the flashlight ON/OFF.
- Performance:
- With 14500 battery: Up to 1000 lumens for approximately 45 minutes.
- With NiMH/Alkaline AA battery: Up to 150 lumens for approximately 105 minutes.

Mode 2: Low Mode (Lower Brightness)
- To activate Low mode, slightly unscrew the flashlight head by about 25% (a quarter turn).
- Press the tailcap button to turn the flashlight ON/OFF.
- Performance:
- With 14500 battery: Up to 10 lumens for approximately 30 hours.
- With NiMH/Alkaline AA battery: Up to 3 lumens for approximately 95 hours.
- You can cycle between Low and Turbo modes by repeatedly tightening and loosening the head slightly.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- O-rings: Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Lubricate them with silicone grease to maintain waterproof integrity. Replace worn O-rings with the provided spare or suitable replacements.
- Threads: Keep the threads of the tailcap and head clean. Lubricate them lightly with silicone grease to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent potential damage from leakage.
