2. Physical Installation
The ANNKE CZ400 is designed for ceiling mount installation. Choose a suitable location that provides optimal viewing angles and is within reach of your network cabling. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the camera's weight.
- Mark the drilling points using the provided mounting template.
- Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
- Secure the camera base to the mounting surface using the screws.
- Connect the network cable to the camera's PoE port.
- Adjust the camera's angle as needed before securing the dome cover.
3. Network Connection
This camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing both power and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable. Connect the camera directly to a PoE-enabled NVR or a PoE switch. Alternatively, the camera can be powered via a 12V DC adapter (not included) and connected to a standard network switch.

4. Smart Motion Detection and AI Features
The CZ400 incorporates AI human detection and various smart behavior analysis features to provide accurate alerts and minimize false alarms. These include:
- Line Crossing Detection
- Intrusion Detection
- Region Entrance & Exit Detection
- Unattended Baggage Detection
- Object Removal Detection
- Audio Exception Detection
- Face Recognition (AI Human Detection)

Maintenance
1. Cleaning and Care
Despite its IP66 waterproof and IK10 vandal-proof ratings, regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance. Gently wipe the camera's dome and housing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the lens or finish. Ensure the anti-fog function is active in cold or humid environments for clear video.
2. Storage Management
The camera supports local storage via a TF (microSD) card up to 256 GB (card not included). It also supports Network Attached Storage (NAS) using NFS, SMB/CIFS protocols for extended recording and backup. Regularly check the storage status and manage recordings to prevent data loss.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No image/video feed | Power issue, network cable disconnected, incorrect IP address. | Check power connection (PoE or adapter). Ensure network cable is securely connected. Verify camera's IP address and network settings. |
| Poor image quality | Dirty lens, insufficient lighting, incorrect focus. | Clean the camera lens. Ensure adequate lighting for color night vision or verify IR illuminators are active for B&W. Adjust focus via the app/software. |
| Motion detection not working | Detection zones not configured, sensitivity too low, firmware outdated. | Configure motion detection zones and adjust sensitivity in the camera settings. Ensure the latest firmware is installed. |
| PTZ control unresponsive | Network latency, camera motor issue, software glitch. | Check network connection stability. Restart the camera. If the issue persists, contact technical support. |
