Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the Nyko Charge Base, a dual controller charging station designed for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One controllers. It includes rechargeable batteries and features LED indicators to show charging status. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and longevity of your device.

Setup Instructions

1. Install Battery Packs: Open the battery compartment on your Xbox controller. Insert one of the provided 1100 mAh rechargeable battery packs, ensuring correct polarity.
2. Attach Battery Cover: Select the appropriate battery cover for your controller model (Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S) and snap it into place over the installed battery pack.
3. Connect Power: Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the Nyko Charge Base and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., Xbox console, USB wall adapter). The base will illuminate.
4. Place Controller: Gently place your controller onto one of the charging docks on the Nyko Charge Base. Ensure the controller makes proper contact with the charging pins.

Maintenance

• Keep the charging station clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or moisture.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself. Contact customer support if service is required.
• Ensure the charging pins on the dock and battery packs are clean and free of debris for optimal connection.

Troubleshooting

Controller not charging / Red light flashing:

• Ensure the controller is properly seated on the charging dock and making full contact with the charging pins.
• Verify the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the Charge Base and the power source.
• Try a different USB power source or USB-C cable to rule out a faulty connection or cable.
• Check if the battery pack is correctly installed in the controller and the battery cover is securely attached.
• If only one side is flashing red or not charging, try swapping controllers or battery packs between the two docks to identify if the issue is with the controller/battery or the charging dock itself.

Controller not recognized by the charging station:

• Ensure the battery pack and cover are specifically designed for the Nyko Charge Base and your Xbox controller model.
• Clean the charging contacts on both the controller battery pack and the charging dock with a dry cloth.

Charge Base LEDs are off:

• Confirm the USB-C power cable is firmly connected to a working power source.
• Try a different USB port or power adapter.
