3. Setup

  1. Insert Glue Stick: Insert a full-size (0.43 inch or 7/16 inch diameter) glue stick into the opening at the back of the glue gun. Push it in until it stops.
  2. Position Stand: Flip down the metal wire stand located near the nozzle to support the glue gun in an upright position when not in use. Ensure the gun rests securely on its wide base and stand.
  3. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard 110-volt electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Select Temperature: Use the dual temperature switch (located on the handle) to select either 'HI' for high temperature or 'LO' for low temperature.
  5. Heat Up: Allow the glue gun to heat for approximately 3-5 minutes. The glue will be ready when a slight squeeze of the trigger dispenses molten glue smoothly.

4. Operation

  1. Temperature Selection:
    • High Temperature (HI): Suitable for stronger bonds and materials like wood, metal, and ceramics.
    • Low Temperature (LO): Ideal for delicate materials such as fabric, foam, and floral arrangements.

  2. Applying Glue: Once heated, gently squeeze the trigger to dispense molten glue from the nozzle. Apply glue to one surface and press the two surfaces together within 15-30 seconds for a strong bond.
  3. Continuous Use: As glue is dispensed, the glue stick will shorten. Insert a new glue stick into the back of the gun to push the remaining stick forward.
  4. Auto-Shut-Off Feature: The glue gun will automatically shut off after 30 minutes of non-use. The power indicator light will turn off. To reactivate, simply pull the trigger. This will reset the 30-minute timer.

  • Cleaning the Nozzle: Ensure the glue gun is unplugged and completely cool. Gently wipe any excess glue from the nozzle with a dry cloth. Do not use water or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the cooled glue gun in a dry, safe place, away from dust and direct sunlight. Ensure the metal stand is flipped down for stability.
