Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Cleaning: Before first use, wash the mixing bowl, attachments (dough hook, A-beater, balloon whisk), and pouring shield in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
- Placement: Place the mixer on a clean, dry, flat, and stable surface. Ensure the anti-slip suction cup feet are securely attached to the countertop.
- Attaching the Bowl: Place the stainless steel mixing bowl onto the base and turn it clockwise until it locks securely into place.
- Attaching an Accessory:
- Ensure the mixer is unplugged and the speed control is set to '0'.
- Press the 'PUSH' button to release and lift the tilt-out arm.
- Select the desired attachment (dough hook, A-beater, or balloon whisk).
- Insert the attachment into the bayonet mounting system, pushing upwards and turning slightly until it clicks into place.
- Lower the tilt-out arm until it locks securely in the down position.
- Attaching the Pouring Shield: If desired, place the pouring shield over the mixing bowl after the attachment is in place.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
The Sencor Stand Mixer offers 6 speed settings and a pulse function for versatile mixing.
- Adding Ingredients: With the mixer unplugged and the tilt-out arm raised, add your ingredients to the mixing bowl.
- Lowering the Arm: Lower the tilt-out arm until it locks securely.
- Selecting Speed: Turn the speed control knob to the desired setting (1-6).
- Speed 1-2: For kneading heavy doughs (Dough Hook).
- Speed 3-4: For mixing batters, mashing potatoes (A-Beater).
- Speed 5-6: For whipping cream, egg whites, light batters (Balloon Whisk).
- Pulse (P): For short bursts of maximum power, ideal for quick mixing or incorporating ingredients. Turn the knob to 'P' and hold, release to stop.
- Mixing: The mixer will begin operation. You can add additional ingredients through the pouring shield opening if in use.
- Stopping Operation: Turn the speed control knob back to '0' to stop the mixer.
- Removing Ingredients and Attachments: Unplug the mixer. Press the 'PUSH' button to lift the tilt-out arm. Remove the attachment by pushing upwards and turning counter-clockwise. Remove the mixing bowl by turning it counter-clockwise.
