Setup
The Vornado 52 Air Circulator comes fully assembled and ready for immediate use. No assembly is required.
- Placement: Position the circulator in a location where the airflow will not be obstructed. For optimal whole-room circulation, place the fan in a corner or against a wall, directing the airflow towards the opposite wall or ceiling.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC wall outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.

Operating Instructions
The Vornado 52 features simple manual controls for adjusting fan speed and direction.
Adjusting Fan Speed:
The fan is equipped with a 3-speed control knob located on the base of the unit.
- Turn On/Off: Rotate the knob clockwise from the "OFF" position to select a speed setting.
- Select Speed:

Maintenance
Regular cleaning of your Vornado 52 fan will ensure optimal performance and extend its lifespan.
Cleaning the Fan:
- Power Off and Unplug: Always ensure the fan is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet before attempting any cleaning.
- Remove Front Grill: The front grill can be removed for easier cleaning of the blades. Locate the small screws on the perimeter of the grill (usually 3-4 screws). Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove them. Gently pull the front grill off.
- Clean Blades and Grill: Use a soft cloth, a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment, or compressed air to remove dust and debris from the fan blades and both the front and rear grills. Do not use water or liquid cleaners directly on the motor or electrical components.
- Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning solutions.
- Reattach Front Grill: Once clean and dry, align the front grill with the fan housing and secure it with the screws.
