1. Safety Instructions
Read these safety instructions carefully before installing or using the appliance. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging. Remove all transit bolts and packing materials from the rear of the machine. Place the washer dryer on a firm, level surface. Adjust the feet to ensure the appliance is stable and level.

2.2 Electrical Connection
Connect the appliance to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage and frequency match the specifications on the rating plate of the appliance.
2.3 Water Connection
Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4 inch thread. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks. Position the drain hose into a suitable drain or sink, ensuring it is securely fixed and not kinked.
2.4 Initial Use
Before the first wash, run an empty wash cycle at 60°C without laundry to clean the drum and remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Control Panel Overview
The control panel features a central display, program selector, and various touch controls for settings and options. Refer to the diagram below for key components.

3.2 Program Selection
Turn the program selector to choose your desired wash or dry program. The display will show the selected program and default settings. Use the touch controls to adjust temperature, spin speed, and add options.
3.3 TwinDos Automatic Dispensing
The TwinDos system automatically dispenses Miele UltraPhase 1 and UltraPhase 2 detergents at the optimal time during the wash cycle for excellent cleaning results. Ensure the TwinDos containers are filled.

3.4 CapDosing
For special applications or fabric care, insert Miele CapDosing capsules into the designated compartment. The machine will dispense the contents at the appropriate time.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Appliance
Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Clean the detergent dispenser drawer regularly to prevent residue buildup. Periodically run a maintenance wash cycle to clean the drum.
4.2 Descaling
If you live in an area with hard water, descaling may be necessary. Use a Miele-approved descaling agent and follow the instructions provided with the product.
4.3 Filter Cleaning
Regularly clean the lint filter in the dryer section and the drain filter located at the bottom front of the machine to ensure optimal performance and prevent blockages.
5. Troubleshooting
- Appliance not starting: Check if the power cord is plugged in, the door is closed properly, and the program is selected.
- Water not draining: Check the drain filter for blockages and ensure the drain hose is not kinked.
- Unusual noise: Ensure the appliance is level and that no foreign objects are in the drum.
- Poor washing/drying results: Check detergent dosage, load size, and selected program. Clean filters if drying is inefficient.
