Important: Ensure the power plug is fully inserted. Partial insertion may prevent the device from powering on.
3.2 Wi-Fi Setup
The frame supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only. If you are using a 5GHz network, you must switch to a 2.4GHz network for connection.
- On the frame's main screen, navigate to "Settings" and then "Wi-Fi".
- Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard.
- Confirm the connection.
3.3 App Installation and Frame Pairing
To share photos and videos wirelessly, install the dedicated "KODAK Classic Frame" app on your smartphone or tablet (iOS/Android compatible).
- Install the App:
- Search for "KODAK Classic Frame" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and download it.

- Register an Account:

- Set a password and enter a nickname.
Note: Verification emails may be in English/Chinese. The code is typically a sequence of English characters at the end of the email.
- Add the Photo Frame:

- Alternatively, manually enter the 9-digit code displayed on the frame's "User" screen into the app.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Uploading Photos and Videos
Once the frame is paired with the app, you can upload media:
- Open the "KODAK Classic Frame" app on your smartphone/tablet.
- Select the photos or videos you wish to upload.
- Choose the target photo frame and initiate the upload.
- Alternatively, you can take photos directly from the app and upload them.
Note: There are no regional restrictions for sharing content via Wi-Fi.

4.2 Using SD Card / USB Memory
Insert an SD/MMC card or USB memory stick (up to 32GB) into the corresponding slot on the frame. The frame will automatically detect the storage and allow you to browse and play media.
To transfer files from a computer, connect the frame via the mini USB cable. The frame will appear as a removable drive, allowing you to drag and drop files to its internal memory.
4.3 Photo Management (Trimming & Rotation)
When viewing a single photo, tap the screen to reveal options. You can then select "Rotate" to adjust the photo's orientation or "Trim" to crop the image.

Problem: Cannot input Japanese characters (Kanji/Kana) or find the conversion key.

- Long-press the "Aa" key on the 12-key keyboard.
- Go to "Language: Japanese (12-key)" → "Add Keyboard" → "Japanese" → "QWERTY (26-key)" → "Done".
After this, you can input Kanji and Kana using the 26-key QWERTY keyboard. The 26-key keyboard is recommended for easier text input.
6.4 SD Card Issues
Problem: SD card cannot be inserted.
Solution: Check the insertion direction. Ensure the side with text is facing outwards and align it correctly before inserting. Do not force the card.
Problem: SD card is inserted but not recognized.
Solution:
- The product supports SD cards up to a maximum of 32GB. Ensure your card is within this limit.
- Ensure the SD card is inserted about halfway into the slot.
- Try removing and reinserting the SD card.
- Restart the photo frame.
6.5 Weather Display Issues
Problem: Weather forecast is not displayed, or temperature shows "N/A" despite Wi-Fi being connected.
Solution: On the weather forecast screen, tap the magnifying glass icon and enter your city name in the search bar to update the weather information.
