• Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
• Mode Button: Selects operating modes (e.g., Auto, Continuous, Laundry Drying).

Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of clear space around all sides of the dehumidifier to allow for proper air circulation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard, grounded electrical outlet.
4. Continuous Drainage (Optional): If you prefer continuous drainage and wish to avoid manually emptying the water tank, connect a suitable hose (not included) to the continuous drain hose connector at the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a floor drain or larger container.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the dehumidifier on or off.
2. Setting Desired Humidity: Press the HUM button repeatedly to cycle through desired humidity levels (e.g., 40%, 50%, 60%). The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.
3. Selecting Mode: Press the Mode button to choose between operating modes:
   • Auto Mode: The unit automatically adjusts operation based on ambient humidity.
   • Continuous Dehumidification: The unit runs continuously regardless of humidity level.
   • Laundry Drying Mode: Designed to quickly dry laundry by running at high fan speed and continuous dehumidification.
4. Fan Speed Adjustment: Press the Speed button to switch between low and high fan speeds.
5. Timer Function: Press the Timer button to set a delay for the unit to turn on or off (up to 24 hours). Each press increases the time by one hour.
6. Child Lock: Press and hold the Lock button for a few seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock. When active, the control panel buttons will be unresponsive.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your dehumidifier.

1. Emptying the Water Tank: When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully pull out the water tank, empty it, and then reinsert it firmly until it clicks into place.
2. Cleaning the Dust Filter: The washable dust filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage. Remove the filter from the back of the unit, rinse it under running water, and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
3. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
4. Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure the water tank is empty and the unit is clean and dry. Wrap the power cord neatly and store the dehumidifier in an upright position in a cool, dry place.
