7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of your RC truck.

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially in dirty or wet conditions, clean the truck thoroughly. Remove dirt, dust, and debris from the chassis, suspension, and drivetrain. A soft brush and compressed air can be useful.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect all screws, nuts, and bolts for tightness. Vibrations from operation can loosen fasteners. Pay close attention to wheel nuts, suspension components, and motor mounts.
  • Drivetrain: Check gears for wear and ensure they are free of debris. Lubricate moving parts as recommended in the full product manual.
  • Battery Care: Always store LiPo batteries in a safe, cool place, and follow manufacturer guidelines for charging and discharging to prevent damage and ensure safety.
  • Receiver Box: The large volume waterproof receiver box helps protect electronics, but ensure it remains sealed and free of moisture.
