3. Installation Guide
Important: This step light requires a 120V power supply and must be wired by a qualified electrician. Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
3.1 Pre-Installation: Select Color Temperature (CCT)
Before installing the fixture, select your desired color temperature (3000K, 4000K, or 5000K) using the CCT toggle switch located on the back of the light fixture. This setting cannot be changed after installation without removing the fixture.

3.2 Wiring and Mounting Steps
- Fix the mounting bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to a standard gang box (screw holes 3-1/4" apart).
- Make all wiring connections: Connect the light's wires to the 120V power supply wires using the provided wire nuts. Ensure proper grounding.
- Insert wiring connection: Carefully tuck all wired connections into the junction box.
- Push the light body into mounting bracket: Gently push the step light fixture into the mounting bracket until it sits flush with the wall.
For outdoor wet location usage, it is suggested to apply caulking to seal the upper 2/3 between the light fixture and the mounting surface after installation for enhanced water resistance.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Color Temperature Selection
As noted in the installation section, the color temperature (3000K, 4000K, or 5000K) is selected via a toggle switch on the back of the fixture prior to installation. Once installed, the CCT setting is fixed until the fixture is removed.
4.2 Dimming Functionality
The CLOUDY BAY LED Step Light is dimmable from 10% to 100% brightness. To utilize this feature, the light must be connected to a compatible 120V LED dimmer switch. Refer to the dimmer compatibility list for recommended models.
