Safety Information
- Age Recommendation: Suitable for children aged 36 months to 12 years. Adult supervision is recommended for younger children during assembly and initial use.
- Battery Safety: Requires 3 AA batteries (not included). Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Insert batteries with correct polarity. Remove exhausted batteries promptly. Remove batteries if the product is not used for an extended period.
- Small Parts: This product contains small parts (planets, projection disks) which may pose a choking hazard for children under 3 years.
- Light Source: Do not stare directly into the projector light source.
Setup
- Install Batteries: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the main base unit. Open the compartment, insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
- Assemble Planet Arms: Carefully attach each of the 8 planet arms to the designated slots around the central pole of the base. Ensure each arm is securely fitted.
- Attach Sun Projector Unit: Align the Sun Projector unit with the top of the central pole on the base. Press down firmly until you hear a slight click, indicating a secure connection. Ensure there is no gap between the projector unit and the pole to ensure proper electrical contact for the light function.
Operating Instructions
1. Talking Solar System Model
- Power On/Off and Language Selection: Locate the language switch on the base. Slide it to 'EN' for English or 'ES' for Spanish. The center position of this switch acts as the 'Off' position.
- Activate Planet Information: Press the corresponding planet pattern button on the base to hear interesting educational facts about that planet.

2. Planetarium Projector
- Insert Projection Disk: Open the small slot on the side of the Sun Projector unit. Insert one of the three projection disks into the slot.
- Activate Projection: Ensure the unit is powered on. The projector light will illuminate, displaying images on a nearby wall or ceiling.
- Adjust Focus: Rotate the top knob on the Sun Projector unit to adjust the clarity of the projected image.
- Change Images: Rotate the inserted projection disk to cycle through the 8 different images on that disk.

3. Projector Night Light
The bright LED solar dome can also function as a night light or flashlight. Simply turn on the projector function without a disk inserted, or use it with a disk for a projected night light effect.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 3 AA batteries when the sound becomes distorted, the light dims, or the unit stops functioning.
- Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
Troubleshooting
