The HP Dual Mode Mouse 300 allows you to switch between 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connections. A dedicated button, usually located on the underside or top of the mouse, facilitates this switch. Press the button to toggle between the two modes. An indicator light will typically show the active connection mode.

Adjusting DPI (Tracking Speed)

The mouse features adjustable DPI settings to customize tracking sensitivity. The available DPI settings are 1200, 1600, 2400, and 3600. A DPI switch button, often located near the scroll wheel, allows you to cycle through these settings. Each press will change the DPI, and the mouse's tracking speed will adjust accordingly.

Using Thumb Buttons

The mouse is equipped with two thumb buttons on its left side. By default, these buttons are configured for "Forward" and "Backward" navigation in web browsers and file explorers. These functions can often be customized through your operating system's mouse settings or specific HP software, if available.
