3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 9V INPUT port on the speaker and plug it into a power outlet. The CHARGING LED will indicate the charging status. Once fully charged, disconnect the adapter.
3.2 Powering On/Off
To power on the speaker, toggle the POWER switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, toggle the switch to 'OFF'.
3.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. If not, press the MODE button until 'BLUE' appears on the display.
- Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device or computer.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select 'MCI 525' from the list.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and you can begin playing audio wirelessly.
3.4 Connecting Wireless Microphones
The included wireless microphones are pre-paired with the speaker. Simply insert batteries into the microphones and power them on. They will automatically connect to the speaker. Adjust microphone volume using the remote control or speaker's menu.
3.5 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To connect two MCI 525 speakers for a stereo experience:
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired with any device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button. The speaker will emit a sound indicating it is searching.
- On the second speaker, press the TWS button briefly.
- The speakers will connect automatically. Once connected, the primary speaker's display will show 'BLUE' and the secondary speaker will show 'TWS'.
- Now, pair your Bluetooth device with the primary speaker ('MCI 525'). Audio will play in stereo across both speakers.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Audio Playback
- Bluetooth: After pairing (Section 3.3), play audio from your connected device.
- USB/TF Card: Insert a USB drive or TF card into the respective port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB/TF mode and begin playback. Use the PREVIOUS/NEXT and PLAY/PAUSE buttons to control playback.
- Line-In: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the LINE IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Press the MODE button until 'LINE' is displayed.
4.2 Microphone Usage
With the wireless microphones connected, you can use them for singing or announcements. Adjust the microphone volume and echo effects using the remote control or the speaker's menu options.
4.3 Light Effects
Press the LIGHT button on the speaker or the 'LED ON/OFF' / 'LED COLOR MODE' buttons on the remote control to cycle through different lighting modes or turn the lights off.
4.4 Volume and EQ Adjustment
Rotate the VOLUME knob on the speaker to adjust the master volume. The remote control also provides separate controls for Bass, Treble, and Microphone Volume (M.VOL), as well as a main volume control (VOL).
4.5 Recording Function
The speaker supports recording audio from the microphones to a connected USB drive or TF card. Press the 'REC' button on the remote control to start recording. Press it again to stop.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use.
