Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including:

Before First Use
Before using your Homecraft Iced Coffee and Tea Maker for the first time, wash the pitcher, lid, and removable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
Setup
- Place the Iced Coffee and Tea Maker on a stable, level surface away from the edge of a countertop.
- Ensure the 3-Quart Pitcher is correctly positioned on the base.
- Open the lid of the water reservoir located on the side of the main unit. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired fill line indicated on the pitcher (either "Water" or "Ice" line, depending on whether you will add ice to the pitcher).
- Place the removable filter basket into its designated slot under the shower head.
- Add your desired amount of fresh ground coffee, loose-leaf tea, or tea bags into the removable filter basket. Refer to the "Operating Instructions" for recommended quantities.
Operating Instructions
Brewing Iced Tea or Coffee
- Follow steps 1-5 in the "Setup" section.
- If making iced tea/coffee, fill the 3-Quart Pitcher with ice cubes up to the "Ice" fill line. If making hot tea/coffee to be chilled later, fill the pitcher with cold water up to the "Water" fill line.
- Adjust the Strength Selector (potency slider) on the front of the unit to your preferred brew strength. Slide it to the left for lighter brew or to the right for stronger brew.
- Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the Start/Stop button located on the side of the unit. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin. The shower head design ensures optimal saturation of your ingredients.
- Once the brewing cycle is complete, the unit will automatically shut off, and the indicator light will turn off.
- Carefully remove the pitcher from the base. The brewed beverage is now ready to serve or store.
- Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after use.

Adjustable Brew Strength
The Homecraft Iced Coffee and Tea Maker features an adjustable strength selector. This allows you to customize the intensity of your brew to suit your personal preference. Simply slide the lever on the front of the unit:
- Slide to the left for a lighter, milder brew.
- Slide to the right for a stronger, more robust brew.
Experiment with different settings and quantities of tea/coffee to find your ideal strength.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your appliance.
- Always unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Remove the 3-Quart Pitcher, lid, and removable filter basket. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water. They are also top-rack dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- NEVER immerse the main unit, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- For optimal performance, periodically descale the unit by running a cycle with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) through the machine without any tea or coffee. Follow with two cycles of plain water to rinse.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the appliance.
