2. Powering On and Antenna Adjustment

Locate the power switch on the back of the unit and slide it to the 'ON' position. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception when using DAB/DAB+ or FM radio modes.

3. Initial Scan for Radio Stations

Upon first power-on, the radio will typically prompt you to perform an automatic scan for DAB/DAB+ stations. Follow the on-screen instructions. This process will find and store all available digital radio stations in your area. For FM radio, a similar auto-scan function is available to find and store FM stations.

4. Setting Time and Date

Navigate to the 'System Settings' menu using the control buttons. Select 'Time/Date' to manually set the current time and date if it is not automatically updated via DAB signal.

Operating Instructions

1. Mode Selection

Press the 'MODE' button to cycle through available modes: DAB Radio, FM Radio, Bluetooth, and AUX-in. The current mode will be displayed on the color LCD screen.

2. DAB/DAB+ Radio Operation

  • Station List: After an auto-scan, use the navigation buttons to browse the list of available DAB/DAB+ stations.
  • Full Scan: If you move to a new location or wish to update the station list, perform a 'Full Scan' from the DAB menu.
  • Manual Tune: For advanced users, manual tuning allows direct input of DAB frequencies.
  • Presets: Save your favorite stations by pressing and holding a preset button (e.g., 1-10, if available, or follow on-screen instructions for digital presets). Recall saved stations by briefly pressing the corresponding preset button. The device supports up to 40 presets.

3. FM Radio Operation

  • Auto Scan: In FM mode, initiate an auto-scan to find and store available FM stations.
  • Manual Tuning: Use the navigation controls to fine-tune FM frequencies.
  • Presets: Similar to DAB, save and recall your preferred FM stations using the preset functions.

4. Bluetooth Connectivity

Switch the radio to Bluetooth mode. The device will enter pairing mode, indicated on the LCD screen. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, search for 'Inscabin P200' (or similar name) in the Bluetooth settings and connect. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly to the radio.

5. AUX-in Connection

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the AUX-in port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Switch the radio to AUX-in mode to play audio from the connected device.

6. Headphone Use

For private listening, plug standard 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack on the back of the unit. The internal speaker will automatically mute.

7. Equalizer Settings

Access the 'System Settings' menu and select 'Equaliser'. Choose from various preset sound profiles (e.g., Normal, Classic, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Speech) or customize your own 'My EQ' settings for personalized audio experience.

8. Dual Alarm Clock

The Inscabin P200 features a dual alarm clock function. Navigate to 'System Settings' and then 'Alarm' to set up two independent alarms. You can configure alarm time, source (DAB, FM, or buzzer), and volume.

9. Sleep Timer

To set a sleep timer, go to 'System Settings' and select 'Sleep'. Choose a duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes) after which the radio will automatically turn off.

10. Remote Control

The radio comes with a remote control for convenient operation from a distance. Use it to change modes, adjust volume, navigate stations, set presets, and control other functions without directly interacting with the unit.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the unit.

2. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the battery when the low battery indicator appears. If the unit will not be used for an extended period, charge it periodically to maintain battery health.

3. Storage

Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the antenna is retracted to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the power switch is 'ON' and the battery is charged. Connect the radio to a power source using the charging cable.
  • No Radio Signal (DAB/FM): Extend the telescopic antenna fully. Perform a 'Full Scan' to search for stations. Try moving the radio to a different location, closer to a window, to improve reception.
  • Bluetooth Not Connecting: Ensure the radio is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your external device. Make sure no other device is currently connected to the radio.
  • No Sound: Check the volume level on both the radio and the connected device (if using Bluetooth/AUX-in). Ensure headphones are not plugged in if you expect sound from the speaker.
  • Remote Control Not Working: Check the battery in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the radio.
