Operating Instructions
Brushing Technique
Dentists recommend brushing for 2 minutes, twice a day. The Oral-B Smart 1500 features a built-in timer to assist you.
- Wet the brush head and apply a small amount of toothpaste.
- Place the brush head against your teeth at a slight angle towards the gumline.
- Press the power button to turn on the toothbrush.
- Guide the brush head slowly from tooth to tooth, allowing it to clean each surface for a few seconds. Do not scrub.
- The 360-degree visible pressure sensor will light up red if you are brushing too hard. Reduce pressure immediately to protect your gums.
- The in-handle quadrant timer will pulse every 30 seconds to indicate when to move to a different quadrant of your mouth. A longer pulse indicates the completion of the 2-minute brushing cycle.
- After brushing, press the power button to turn off the toothbrush.
