Setup and First Use
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove the air fryer oven and all accessories from the packaging.
- Remove any protective film or stickers from the appliance.
- Check that all components are present: 1 x Air Fryer Oven, 1 x Wire Rack, 1 x Enameled Baking Tray, 1 x Air Fry Basket Tray.
Placement:
- Place the oven on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ensure there is at least 10-15 cm of clear space on all sides (back, sides, and top) for proper ventilation.
- Do not place the oven near flammable materials or under cabinets.
Initial Cleaning:
- Before first use, wipe the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth.
- Wash the wire rack, enameled baking tray, and air fry basket tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Insert the crumb tray at the bottom of the oven.
Burn-in Process (Recommended):
- Plug the oven into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Set the temperature to 230°C and the timer to 15-20 minutes.
- Allow the oven to run empty to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke is normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
- After the cycle, unplug the oven and let it cool down completely.
Operating Instructions

The Mayer MMAO24 features three main control knobs:
- Function Knob (Left): Selects the cooking mode.
- Temperature Knob (Middle): Adjusts the cooking temperature from OFF to 230°C.
- Timer Knob (Right): Sets the cooking time up to 60 minutes.
Cooking Functions:
The Function knob allows you to choose from the following cooking modes:
- Air Fry: Utilizes a powerful fan for rapid hot air circulation, ideal for crispy results.
- Bottom Heat: Heats from the bottom element, suitable for baking or slow cooking.
- Top Heat: Heats from the top element, good for browning or grilling.
- Top & Bottom Heat: Standard oven function, using both heating elements.
- Top & Bottom Heat with Fan: Convection oven function, combining both elements with fan assistance for even cooking.
General Operation:
- Place food on the appropriate accessory (wire rack, baking tray, or air fry basket).
- Slide the accessory into the desired rack position inside the oven.
- Close the double glass door securely.
- Turn the Function Knob to select your desired cooking mode.
- Turn the Temperature Knob to set the desired cooking temperature (up to 230°C).
- Turn the Timer Knob clockwise to set the cooking time (up to 60 minutes). The power indicator light will illuminate. For times less than 20 minutes, turn the knob past 20 and then back to the desired time for accuracy.
- The oven will automatically shut off when the timer reaches zero, indicated by an audible bell.
- Carefully remove cooked food using oven mitts.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will help maintain the performance and longevity of your Mayer MMAO24 Air Fryer Oven.
- Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior: Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive sponge can be used. Ensure the interior is dry before next use.
- Accessories: The wire rack, enameled baking tray, and air fry basket tray can be washed in warm, soapy water. They are also dishwasher safe.
- Removable Crumb Tray: Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom of the oven. Empty any crumbs and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reinserting.
- Do not use metal scouring pads or sharp objects to clean the interior or accessories, as this may damage the non-stick coating or surfaces.
