Important Note: This device is not Wi-Fi compatible. A power adapter is not included in the package.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the e-reader's Micro USB port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V, 500mA USB power source (e.g., a computer USB port or a compatible USB wall adapter, not included).
3. The charging indicator will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 10 hours.

5.2 Inserting a TF Card (Optional)

To expand storage, you can insert a TF (MicroSD) card up to 16GB.

1. Locate the TF card slot on the side or bottom of the e-reader.
2. Gently insert the TF card into the slot until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

5.3 Connecting to a Computer

You can connect the e-reader to a computer to transfer files.

1. Connect the e-reader to your computer using the USB cable.
2. The e-reader will appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
3. Drag and drop e-book files, music, videos, or photos into the appropriate folders on the e-reader or TF card.
4. Safely eject the device from your computer before disconnecting the USB cable.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until a power-off prompt appears, then confirm.

6.2 Navigating the Interface

The e-reader features physical buttons for navigation. The main menu provides access to various functions:

• My Books: Access your e-book library.
• Brightness: Adjust screen brightness.

6.3 Reading E-books

1. From the main menu, select "My Books" to open your library.

3. Use the flip-book buttons to turn pages.
4. While reading, you can access the reading assistant to adjust font size, color, and brightness for optimal comfort.
5. To add a bookmark, navigate to the desired page and use the bookmark function (refer to on-screen prompts or specific button).

6.4 Multimedia Playback

The e-reader supports various multimedia formats. Connect the included headset for audio playback.

• Select "Music" to browse and play audio files.
• Select "Video" to browse and play video files.
• Select "Pictures" to browse and view image files.

7. Maintenance

• Clean the screen and body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Keep the device away from dust, dirt, and extreme temperatures.
• Ensure the USB port is free of debris before charging or connecting to a computer.
• Store the device in its leather case when not in use to protect it from scratches and minor impacts.
