Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the NUSICAN N18 jump starter. It is recommended to keep the unit charged above 50% at all times for optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the jump starter's input port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB Type-C cable to a compatible USB wall charger (not included).
  3. The power indicator lights on the unit will illuminate, indicating charging status. All lights will be solid when fully charged.

Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter's battery level is above 50% before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

  1. Connect Jumper Cable: Press the power button on the jump starter. Insert the intelligent jumper cable into the jump start output port on the unit.
  2. Connect Clamps to Battery: Connect the RED clamp to the positive (+) terminal of your car battery. Connect the BLACK clamp to the negative (-) terminal of your car battery. Ensure a secure connection. The LCD screen on the clamps will provide feedback.
  3. Start Engine: Once the clamps are correctly connected and the indicator on the intelligent clamps is solid green, start your car engine.
  4. Remove Clamps: After the car successfully starts, immediately unplug the jumper cable from the jump starter unit. Then, remove the clamps from the car battery terminals.

Using as a Power Bank

The NUSICAN N18 can charge various electronic devices.

  • Connect your device's USB charging cable to one of the USB output ports (Output 1 or Output 2) on the jump starter.
  • The jump starter will automatically begin charging your device.

Using the 12V/10A DC Output Port

This port can power 12V car accessories.

  • Connect your 12V car accessory (e.g., tire inflator, car vacuum cleaner) to the 12V-16.8V/10A DC Output port on the jump starter.
  • Ensure the accessory is compatible with the voltage and amperage.

Using the LED Flashlight

The built-in LED flashlight has three modes:

  • Press the flashlight button once for constant illumination (Flash Light mode).
  • Press the button a second time for SOS mode (flashing SOS signal).
  • Press the button a third time for Strobe Light mode (rapid flashing).
  • Press the button a fourth time to turn off the flashlight.
