- Mount the Faucet: Insert the faucet body into the sink hole. Secure it from underneath the sink using the rubber washer, metal washer, and mounting nut. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.
- Connect Water Lines: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet. Use thread sealant tape for a watertight seal.
- Install Control Box: Mount the control box in an accessible location under the sink. Connect the data cable from the faucet to the control box.
- Attach Pull-Down Hose: Connect the pull-down hose to the faucet's outlet. Attach the counterweight to the pull-down hose at the appropriate height to ensure smooth retraction.
- Connect Spray Head: Screw the spray head onto the end of the pull-down hose.
- Organize Hoses: Use the provided zip tie to bundle the hoses neatly, preventing tangles and ensuring smooth operation of the pull-down feature.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Touchless Sensor Operation
The faucet features an automatic sensor for hands-free operation. To activate the water flow, simply wave your hand in front of the sensor located on the faucet body. Wave your hand again to turn off the water. Ensure the manual handle is in the 'on' position for the sensor to function.
5.2 Manual Handle Operation
The single handle controls both water temperature and flow rate. Lift the handle to increase flow and move it left or right to adjust temperature. For touchless operation, leave the handle in your desired 'on' position.
5.3 Spray Head Modes
The pull-down spray head offers three distinct water modes:
- Spray Mode: Ideal for rinsing dishes and cleaning the sink.
- Steam Mode: Provides a steady, aerated stream for filling pots.
- Pause Mode: Temporarily stops water flow without turning off the faucet, useful for moving the spray head between tasks.
Press the buttons on the spray head to switch between these modes.

5.4 Pull-Down Functionality
The spray head can be pulled down from the faucet spout, extending up to 15.7 inches (40 cm), providing flexibility for various kitchen tasks. After use, the counterweight ensures the hose retracts smoothly and securely back into the spout.

5.5 360-Degree Rotation
The faucet spout can rotate 360 degrees, allowing for full sink coverage and increased convenience, especially in double-basin sinks.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Faucet
To maintain the brushed nickel finish and anti-fingerprint properties, clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.

6.2 Aerator Maintenance
Periodically unscrew the aerator from the spray head and clean any mineral deposits or debris that may have accumulated. Rinse thoroughly and reattach.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your faucet, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No water flow or low pressure | Water supply turned off; clogged aerator; kinked hose. | Check water supply valves; clean aerator; straighten hose. |
| Sensor not responding | Manual handle not in 'on' position; sensor obstructed; power issue with control box. | Ensure handle is open; clear sensor area; check control box connections. |
| Leaks from connections | Loose connections; damaged washers. | Tighten connections (do not overtighten); replace damaged washers. |
| Pull-down hose not retracting smoothly | Counterweight improperly positioned; hose obstructed. | Adjust counterweight position; clear any obstructions around the hose. |
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact SNAN customer support.
