3. Safety Information

4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Attaching the Phone Holder to the Mount

The phone holder head connects to either the dashboard/windshield mount or the air vent mount via a ball joint. Loosen the collar on the mount arm, push the ball joint into the socket on the phone holder, and then tighten the collar to secure it.

4.2. Dashboard/Windshield Suction Cup Installation

  1. Choose a flat, clean surface on your dashboard or windshield that does not obstruct your view or vehicle controls.
  2. Press the suction cup firmly against the chosen surface.
  3. Push the lever down to create a vacuum seal, securing the mount in place.
  4. Adjust the arm and phone holder angle as desired.

4.3. Air Vent Mount Installation (Optional)

  1. Attach the air vent clip to the back of the phone holder head.
  2. Carefully slide the vent clip onto a horizontal or vertical air vent slat in your vehicle.
  3. Ensure the clip is firmly seated and does not obstruct airflow or vent operation.

4.4. Power Connection

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the USB-C port on the bottom of the phone holder.
  2. Connect the large end of the USB charging cable to the 12V car power adapter.
  3. Insert the 12V car power adapter into your vehicle's 12V accessory outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
  4. The mount is now powered and ready for wireless charging.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Placing Your Phone in the Holder

  1. Gently pull open the side grip arms of the phone holder.
  2. Place your smartphone into the holder, ensuring it rests on the bottom support.
  3. Release the grip arms to allow them to automatically secure your phone. Ensure the phone is centered for optimal wireless charging.

5.2. Wireless Charging Function

The PwrUp MiT Grip QI Mount features 10W Qi-certified wireless charging. Once your compatible smartphone is placed correctly in the holder and the mount is powered, wireless charging will begin automatically. A green indicator light (as shown in Image 5.2) will illuminate to confirm charging is active.

  • Ensure your phone is Qi-compatible.
  • For optimal charging, ensure your phone is centered on the charging pad.
  • Phone cases thicker than 8mm may interfere with wireless charging.

5.3. Adjusting the Viewing Angle

The mount features a rotating head and a pivotable arm, allowing you to adjust your phone to the optimal viewing angle. Loosen the collar behind the phone holder to adjust the ball joint, then tighten it to secure the desired position. The phone holder can also be rotated 360 degrees for portrait or landscape viewing.
