3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Unpacking

- Remove the transport bolts located at the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transit and must be removed before use. Keep them for future transport.
- Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not install or operate if damaged.
3.2. Location Requirements
- Place the washing machine on a firm, level floor.
- Ensure there is adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access.

4.1. Before First Use
Before washing laundry for the first time, run a short wash cycle without laundry to clean the drum. Add a small amount of detergent to the main wash compartment.
4.2. Loading Laundry
- Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and degree of soiling.

4.5. Starting a Wash Cycle
- Ensure the water tap is open and the power cord is plugged in.
- Load laundry and add detergent.
- Select the desired program using the Program Selection Dial.
- Adjust any additional options (e.g., spin speed, temperature) if available and desired.
- Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.
4.6. Interrupting or Changing a Program
- To pause a cycle, press the Start/Pause button.
- To change a program, turn the Program Selection Dial to the OFF position, then select a new program. Note that water may need to be drained before the door can be opened.
4.7. End of Cycle
The machine will signal the end of the cycle. The door will unlock after a short delay. Unload the laundry promptly to prevent wrinkles and odors. Turn off the water tap and unplug the machine if not in use for an extended period.

5.1. Cleaning the Exterior

5.4. Cleaning the Drain Filter
- Locate the drain filter cover at the bottom right of the machine.
- Place a shallow container beneath the filter to catch any residual water.
- Slowly unscrew the filter counter-clockwise and remove it.
- Clean the filter of any lint, coins, or foreign objects.
- Rinse the filter under running water.
- Screw the filter back in clockwise until it is tight.
5.5. Winterization (If applicable)
