1. Introduction

2. Important Safeguards

  • Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
  • Do not operate unattended.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.

  • Toasting Slots: Two wide slots for various bread types.
  • Carriage Handle: Lever to lower and raise bread.

4. Setup

  1. Unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials.
  2. Place the toaster on a stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface, away from curtains or other flammable materials.
  3. Ensure the crumb tray is properly inserted.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 230 Volt AC electrical outlet.
  5. For first use, operate the toaster without bread on the highest setting (6) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate. Allow the toaster to cool completely.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Insert up to two slices of bread, bagels, or toaster pastries into the toasting slots.
  2. Select your desired browning level using the Browning Control Dial. Setting 1 is the lightest, and Setting 6 is the darkest.
  3. Press the Carriage Handle down until it locks into place. The toasting cycle will begin.
  4. When the desired browning is achieved, the toast will automatically pop up, and the toaster will shut off.
  5. To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the Cancel button.
  6. Carefully remove the toasted items. Be aware that the toaster and toasted items will be hot.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will help maintain the performance and longevity of your toaster.

  • Always unplug the toaster from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Crumb Tray: Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster. Discard crumbs and wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly before reinserting.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the toaster with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
  • Interior: Never insert any object into the toasting slots to clean. If food becomes lodged, unplug the toaster and carefully invert it to dislodge the item.
  • Do not immerse the toaster in water or any other liquid.
