2. Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or coffee maker in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off,” then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the coffee maker and all packaging materials.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Run two cycles with only water to flush the internal components.
- Placement: Place the coffee maker on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation.

5. Operating Instructions
- Add Water: Open the lid and pour fresh water into the reservoir. The amount of water added will determine the volume of your brewed coffee (5 to 12 ounces).
- Insert Capsule: Place a K-cup compatible capsule into the capsule holder. Close the lid firmly.
- Place Mug: Position your coffee mug on the drip tray. For taller travel mugs (up to 5.7 inches), the drip tray can be removed.
- Start Brewing: Press the power button. The indicator light will flash blue while heating and brewing. Once brewing is complete, the light will turn solid blue or turn off, and the coffee maker will automatically shut off.
- Enjoy: Your fresh coffee is ready in approximately 3 minutes.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your coffee maker.
Daily Cleaning:
- Drip Tray and Filter Basket: The detachable filter basket and drip tray can be removed and washed directly with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Descaling (Monthly or as needed):
Mineral deposits can build up over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly.
- Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water.
- Place a large mug on the drip tray.
- Press the power button to start a brew cycle. Allow the cycle to complete.
- Repeat the brewing process with the vinegar solution until the reservoir is empty.
- Run several cycles with fresh, clean water to rinse out any remaining vinegar solution.

7. Troubleshooting
