4. Setup
4.1 Connecting Antennas
For the transmitter, screw the three external antennas firmly into their respective ports. The receiver features built-in antennas and does not require external antenna attachment.
4.2 Powering the Devices
The Mars 300 PRO supports multiple power options:
- L-series Batteries: Attach a compatible NP-F 550/750/970 battery to the battery plate on the transmitter and receiver.
- Type-C Input: Connect a 5-12V Type-C power source (e.g., power bank, wall adapter) to the Type-C port. Ensure the power source provides sufficient current (5V/2A recommended).

4.3 HDMI Connections
Connect your video source (e.g., camera) to the HDMI IN port on the transmitter. If you require local monitoring, connect a display to the HDMI LOOP OUT port on the transmitter. On the receiver, connect your monitoring display(s) to the HDMI OUT 1 or HDMI OUT 2 ports.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button on both the transmitter and receiver until the OLED screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button again until the screen turns off.
5.2 Thumbwheel Switch Menu Navigation
The 3-in-1 thumbwheel switch allows for easy navigation through the device's menu. Rotate the thumbwheel to scroll through options and press it to select. The side OLED screen displays menu options and device status.

5.3 Channel Scan and Selection
To ensure optimal signal quality, perform a channel scan. This can be done directly on the receiver via the OLED menu or through the HollyView App. Select a channel with minimal interference for stable transmission.

5.4 App Monitoring (HollyView App)
Download the HollyView App from your device's app store. Connect your smartphone or tablet to the Mars 300 PRO's Wi-Fi network. The app allows for real-time monitoring and access to professional features such as Waveform, Focus Peaking, Zebra, ZOOM, and 3D LUTs.

5.5 Fan Speed Control
Access the fan speed settings through the thumbwheel menu or the HollyView App. You can select between 'Regular' speed for standard operation or 'Low' speed for quiet mode, which is useful in sound-sensitive environments.
