Connectivity Modes
The Keychron K3 supports both wireless Bluetooth 5.1 and wired USB Type-C connections.

Bluetooth Connection:
- Locate the mode switch on the side of the keyboard. Slide the switch to the Bluetooth position.
- Hold down the Fn + 1 keys simultaneously until the Bluetooth indicator light flashes repeatedly, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (laptop, PC, tablet, or phone), enable Bluetooth, search for "Keychron K3", and connect.
- The keyboard can connect to up to 3 devices. Use Fn + 1, Fn + 2, or Fn + 3 to switch between paired devices.
Note: Keep the distance between the keyboard and the device within reasonable limits to minimize signal interference.
Wired Connection:
- Locate the mode switch on the side of the keyboard. Slide the switch to the Cable position.
- Connect the provided USB Type-C cable from the keyboard to your computer's USB port.
- The keyboard will be recognized automatically as a plug-and-play device.
Operating System Compatibility
The Keychron K3 is compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems. It includes extra keycaps for both systems.

Typing Experience
The Keychron K3 features low-profile Keychron mechanical switches (Red Switch variant) which are 40% slimmer than conventional switches. This design results in a shorter pre-travel and total travel distance, allowing for faster input and feedback.

Backlight Control

Cleaning the Keyboard

- Keyboard Body: Wipe the aluminum body and plastic bottom frame with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid excessive moisture.
- Switches: Use compressed air to remove dust and debris from around and under the switches.
Battery Information
The Keychron K3 is powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery life can last up to 34 hours on the lowest brightness setting.
