This range hood can be installed as either a ducted (vented to the outside) or ductless (recirculating) system. Choose the appropriate method for your kitchen setup.

1. Planning and Dimensions

2. Mounting the Range Hood

  • Mesh Filters: Install the aluminum mesh filters into their designated slots. These filters capture grease.
  • Charcoal Filters (Ductless Only): If operating in ductless mode, attach the CC170 charcoal filters to the motor housing as per the installation kit instructions. These filters remove odors.

2. Fan Speed Control

The range hood has three fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High. Press the corresponding button to select your desired speed. Higher speeds provide stronger suction for heavy cooking.

1. Cleaning the Exterior

2. Cleaning/Replacing Mesh Filters

The aluminum mesh filters should be cleaned regularly (monthly or more frequently depending on cooking habits). Remove the filters and wash them with warm, soapy water or place them in a dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before re-installing.

3. Replacing Charcoal Filters (Ductless Only)

If using the range hood in ductless mode, the charcoal filters (CC170) should be replaced every 3-6 months, or more often if cooking frequently. Charcoal filters cannot be washed and reused.
