1. Planning and Dimensions

2. Mounting the Range Hood
Carefully follow the instructions provided in the installation kit for mounting the range hood insert into your cabinet. Ensure the mounting is secure and level.
3. Electrical Connection
Connect the range hood to a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. All wiring must be done by a qualified electrician in accordance with local codes and standards.
4. Filter Installation
- Mesh Filters: Install the aluminum mesh filters into their designated slots. These filters capture grease.
- Charcoal Filters (Ductless Only): If operating in ductless mode, attach the CC170 charcoal filters to the motor housing as per the installation kit instructions. These filters remove odors.

2. Fan Speed Control
The range hood has three fan speeds: Low, Medium, and High. Press the corresponding button to select your desired speed. Higher speeds provide stronger suction for heavy cooking.

1. Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that can scratch the surface.
2. Cleaning/Replacing Mesh Filters
The aluminum mesh filters should be cleaned regularly (monthly or more frequently depending on cooking habits). Remove the filters and wash them with warm, soapy water or place them in a dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before re-installing.
3. Replacing Charcoal Filters (Ductless Only)
If using the range hood in ductless mode, the charcoal filters (CC170) should be replaced every 3-6 months, or more often if cooking frequently. Charcoal filters cannot be washed and reused.
