7. Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Sample: Place a suitable magnetic stir bar into your beaker or flask containing the liquid to be stirred or heated.
  2. Position Glassware: Carefully place the beaker or flask centrally on the heating plate.
  3. Start Stirring: Turn the 'STIRRING' knob clockwise to increase the stirring speed. The stir bar inside the liquid will begin to rotate. Adjust to the desired speed.
  4. Start Heating (Optional): Turn the 'HEATING' knob clockwise to activate the heating function. The 'HEAT' indicator light will illuminate. Adjust the knob to control the heating power.
  5. Simultaneous Operation: Both stirring and heating functions can be used independently or simultaneously.
  6. Monitor Process: Observe the stirring and heating process. Use external thermometers if precise temperature control is required.
  7. Stop Operation: To stop heating, turn the 'HEATING' knob counter-clockwise to its minimum position. To stop stirring, turn the 'STIRRING' knob counter-clockwise to its minimum position.
  8. Cool Down: Allow the heating plate to cool down completely before touching or cleaning. The 'HEAT' indicator light will turn off when heating is deactivated, but the plate may remain hot for some time.
