Safety Information
Please read and understand all instructions before beginning installation. Failure to follow these instructions could result in electric shock, fire, or personal injury.
- Always disconnect power at the main circuit breaker before installing, cleaning, or servicing the fan.
- All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances, and the National Electric Code. If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring, seek the services of a qualified electrician.
- Ensure the installation site allows the fan blades to rotate without obstruction. Maintain a minimum clearance of 7 feet from the floor to the bottom of the blades.
- The mounting structure must be capable of supporting the weight of the fan (approximately 17.6 pounds).
- Do not bend the blade holders during installation or cleaning.
- Do not insert objects into the path of the fan blades while the fan is operating.
- This fan is rated for indoor, dry locations only. Do not install in damp or wet environments.

Setup & Installation
This ceiling fan features a dual-mount system, allowing for either a flush mount installation (ideal for low ceilings) or a standard downrod installation. Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with electrical wiring.
General Installation Steps:
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Mounting Bracket Installation: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling junction box. Ensure the junction box is securely fastened to the building structure and can support the fan's weight.
- Assembly: Assemble the fan blades to the motor housing. Attach the light kit assembly to the bottom of the fan motor. Install the included LED bulbs into the light kit.
- Wiring: Connect the fan's electrical wires to the household wiring according to the wiring diagram provided in the full installation guide (not included here). Ensure all connections are secure using wire nuts.
- Fan Mounting: Carefully lift the fan assembly and hang it from the mounting bracket. For downrod installation, feed the wires through the downrod and secure the downrod to the motor housing and mounting bracket. For flush mount, attach the fan directly to the mounting bracket.
- Canopy Installation: Slide the canopy up to the ceiling and secure it to the mounting bracket, covering the wiring connections.
- Final Checks: Double-check all connections and ensure no wires are pinched. Restore power at the circuit breaker.

Operating Instructions
The Concord Heritage LED Ceiling Fan is operated using two pull chains located on the fan's motor housing.
- Fan Speed Control: One pull chain controls the fan speed. Pull the chain repeatedly to cycle through the three available speeds: High, Medium, Low, and Off.
- Light Control: The second pull chain controls the integrated LED light kit. Pull the chain to turn the light On or Off.
- Reversible Blades: The fan features reversible blades, allowing you to change the direction of airflow. During warmer months, set the fan to rotate counter-clockwise to create a cooling breeze. In cooler months, set the fan to rotate clockwise at a low speed to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling. The direction switch is typically located on the fan motor housing.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: To clean the fan, wipe the blades and motor housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish. Ensure power is off before cleaning.
- Light Bulb Replacement: The fan uses three 6.5W A15 LED bulbs with a medium base. To replace bulbs, ensure power is off, allow bulbs to cool, then carefully unscrew the old bulbs and screw in the new ones.
- Blade Balance: If the fan wobbles, check that all blade screws are tightened. A balancing kit (not included) can be used to correct any imbalance.
- Tighten Fasteners: Periodically check and tighten all screws and fasteners on the fan assembly to ensure secure operation.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your fan, consult the following table for common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fan does not start | No power to the fan Loose wire connections Motor issue | Check circuit breaker and wall switch. Verify all wire connections are secure (ensure power is off first). Contact customer support if motor is unresponsive. |
| Fan wobbles | Loose blade screws Unbalanced blades Loose mounting bracket | Tighten all blade screws. Use a blade balancing kit (sold separately) or swap blades to find balance. Ensure mounting bracket is securely fastened to the ceiling. |
| Light does not work | Bulbs are faulty or loose Loose wire connections Light kit issue | Check if bulbs are screwed in tightly; replace if necessary. Verify light kit wiring connections (ensure power is off first). Contact customer support if light kit is unresponsive. |
| Noisy operation | Loose screws Motor hum Blade rubbing | Tighten all screws on the fan. Some motor hum is normal; if excessive, contact support. Check for any obstructions or misaligned blades. |
