This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Audizio Milan DAB+ / FM Radio with Bluetooth. Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to prevent damage.

Setup
1. Powering On
The Audizio Milan radio can be powered either by the included USB cable connected to a 5V DC power source or by its internal rechargeable battery.
- First Use / Charging: Connect the supplied USB cable to the "DC IN 5V" port on the back of the radio and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The battery will begin charging.
- Turning On: Rotate the "TUNE/SELECT" knob clockwise until the display illuminates.

2. Antenna Adjustment
Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception in both DAB+ and FM modes.
3. Initial Setup (Time and Date)
Upon first power-on, the radio may prompt you to set the time and date. In DAB mode, the time and date are usually automatically synchronized with the broadcast signal.
Operating Instructions
1. Mode Selection
Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: DAB, FM, and Bluetooth.

2. DAB+ Radio Operation
- Automatic Scan: In DAB mode, press the SCAN button to perform a full scan for available DAB+ stations. The radio will store all found stations.
- Selecting Stations: Rotate the TUNE/SELECT knob to browse through the list of available stations. Press the knob to confirm your selection.
- Display Information: Press the INFO/MENU button to cycle through various information displays such as program type, signal strength, bit rate, and date/time.
3. FM Radio Operation
- Automatic Scan: In FM mode, press and hold the SCAN button to automatically scan and store available FM stations.
- Manual Tuning: Rotate the TUNE/SELECT knob to manually tune to a specific frequency.
- Selecting Stations: Press the TUNE/SELECT knob to confirm the frequency.
4. Bluetooth Operation
- Enter Bluetooth Mode: Press the MODE button until "Bluetooth" is displayed. The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the display.
- Pairing: On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, computer), search for "Audizio Milan" in the Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
- Playing Audio: Once paired, you can stream audio from your device to the radio. Use your device's controls for playback (play/pause, skip tracks, volume).
5. Sleep Timer Function
The sleep timer allows the radio to turn off automatically after a set period.
- Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes, or OFF).
- The selected time will be displayed briefly. The radio will automatically power off after the set duration.
6. Headphone and Line Out Connections
- Headphone Jack: Connect 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack on the back of the unit for private listening. The internal speaker will be muted.
- Line Out: Use the 3.5mm Line Out port to connect the radio to an external amplifier or active speakers.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the unit regularly, especially if not used for extended periods.
- Storage: When storing the radio for a long time, ensure it is fully charged and stored in a cool, dry place.
