4.2. Key Gaming Features
- 165Hz Refresh Rate: Provides smoother motion and reduced input lag for a more fluid gaming experience.
- 1ms Motion Blur Reduction (MBR): Reduces motion blur, making fast-paced action clearer. This feature can be enabled or disabled via the OSD menu.
- AMD FreeSync: Synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with your AMD graphics card's frame rate to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering. Ensure FreeSync is enabled in both the monitor's OSD and your graphics card settings.
- HDR10: Supports High Dynamic Range content for enhanced contrast and color depth.
- Black Stabilizer: Adjusts the black saturation levels to make dark images stand out better in dark scenes, improving visibility of enemies in shadowy areas.
- Crosshair: An on-screen crosshair feature can be enabled for improved aiming accuracy in games.
- Game Mode: Pre-set display modes optimized for various game genres (e.g., FPS, RTS) can be selected from the OSD menu.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Monitor
To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, alcohol, or ammonia-based cleaners, as these can damage the screen surface. For the monitor casing, use a soft, dry cloth.
5.2. Storage
When storing the monitor for an extended period, ensure it is powered off and disconnected from all cables. Store it in a cool, dry place, ideally in its original packaging to protect it from dust and physical damage.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the monitor and a working power outlet. Check if the power indicator light is on.
- No Signal: Verify that the video cable (DisplayPort or HDMI) is correctly connected to both the monitor and your computer/device. Ensure the correct input source is selected via the OSD menu.
- Screen Tearing/Stuttering: If using an AMD graphics card, ensure AMD FreeSync is enabled in both the monitor's OSD settings and your graphics card control panel.
- Motion Blur: Check if 1ms Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) is enabled in the OSD menu. Note that MBR may affect brightness.
- Poor Picture Quality: Adjust brightness, contrast, sharpness, and color temperature settings in the OSD menu. Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date.
- No Sound (if using monitor's headphone jack): Ensure your audio output is set to the monitor in your computer's sound settings. Check headphone connection.
