1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Units

The ArmoGear Laser Tag Set features rechargeable guns and vests. Before first use, ensure all units are fully charged. Connect the charging station to a power source and place the guns and vests onto their respective charging docks. An indicator light will show charging status.

3.2 Powering On and Syncing

1. Turn on each laser gun and target vest using their respective power buttons.
2. The units will enter a pairing mode. Point the laser gun at the target vest and press the trigger to sync them. The vest will confirm successful pairing.
3. Repeat for all guns and vests.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Team Selection

• Each set supports up to four teams, identified by different colors (Red, Blue, Green, Orange).
• Press the 'Team Selection Button' on your laser gun to cycle through the available team colors. Ensure your gun and vest display the same team color.

4.2 Weapon Modes

The laser guns offer multiple weapon modes, each with unique characteristics:

• Pistol: 12 preloaded shots, 1 life taken per shot.
• Shotgun: 5 preloaded shots, 2 lives taken per shot.
• Machine Gun: 9 preloaded shots, 2 lives taken per shot.
• Rocket: 1 preloaded shot, 3 lives taken per shot.

Press the 'Weapon Selection Button' on your gun to switch between modes.

4.3 Reloading

When your gun runs out of shots, you will need to reload. Locate the 'Reload' lever on the gun and push it up to replenish your ammunition.

4.4 Scoring and Lives

• Your target vest displays your remaining lives. Each time you are hit by an opponent's laser, your lives will decrease based on the weapon used.
• When your lives reach zero, your vest will indicate 'Game Over' and you will be out of the current round.

5. Gameplay Features

• Invisibility Mode: Activate this mode for a temporary advantage during gameplay.
• Night Vision Light: The gun includes a built-in LED light for playing in low-light conditions.
• Voice Directions: The units provide voice prompts for game status and actions.
• Tactile Vibrations: Guns and vests provide realistic vibrations when shooting or being hit.
• Lifelike Shooting Sounds: Each weapon mode has distinct sound effects.
• 150 ft Range: The infrared signal has an effective range of up to 150 feet.

6. Maintenance

• Keep the units clean by wiping them with a dry, soft cloth.
• Avoid exposing the units to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Store the units in a dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

• Units not charging: Ensure the charging cables are securely connected to both the charging station and the units. Check the power source.
• Weak charging connection: Some users have reported weak charging ports. Ensure units are placed carefully on the charging station to maintain connection.
• Units not syncing: Make sure both the gun and vest are powered on and within close range during the initial pairing process.
• Short game duration with vests: When playing with vests, games may be shorter (e.g., 3 hits). For longer games, consider playing gun-only mode where hits are registered directly on the opponent's gun.
