3. Setup
- Unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials.
- Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from curtains or other flammable materials.
- Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the toaster.
- Before first use, operate the toaster without bread on the highest browning setting (6) for a few minutes to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal. Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
- Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Toasting
- Plug the toaster into a suitable 240V power outlet.
- Place up to four slices of bread into the toasting slots. The self-centering system will hold the bread evenly.
- Select your desired browning level using the browning control dial (1 for light, 6 for dark).
- Press the toasting lever down until it locks into place. The indicator light for the Cancel button will illuminate, and the toasting cycle will begin.
- Once the selected browning level is reached, the toast will automatically pop up, and the indicator light will turn off.
- If the toast is not sufficiently browned, you can lower the lever again. If it is too dark, select a lower setting for the next use.
- To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the Cancel button.
4.2 Special Functions
The toaster includes four predefined functions:
- Reheat Function: To warm up already toasted bread without further browning. Place the bread in the slots, lower the lever, and press the Reheat button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Defrost Function: To toast frozen bread. Place the frozen bread in the slots, lower the lever, and press the Defrost button. The indicator light will illuminate. The toaster will automatically adjust the toasting time.
- Bagel Function: To toast only one side of a bagel or thick slice of bread. Place the bagel (cut side facing inwards) in the slots, lower the lever, and press the Bagel button. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Cancel Function: To stop any toasting cycle immediately. Press the Cancel button.
4.3 Using the Bun Warmer Rack
The removable bun warmer rack is ideal for warming croissants, pastries, or buns.

- Place the bun warmer rack securely over the toasting slots.
- Place the items to be warmed on the rack.
- Set the browning control dial to a low setting (e.g., 1 or 2).
- Lower the toasting lever to start the heating cycle.
- Monitor the items closely to prevent burning. The heating cycle will complete automatically.
- Remove the warmed items carefully.
- Allow the toaster and rack to cool before removing the rack.
4.4 Extra-Lift Function
After the toasting cycle is complete and the toast pops up, you can gently lift the toasting lever further upwards to raise smaller items higher for easier and safer removal.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.
- Always unplug the toaster from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Crumb Tray: Pull out the removable crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster. Discard the crumbs. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before reinserting.

- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can scratch the stainless steel finish.
- Cleaning the Interior: Never insert any objects into the toasting slots to remove stuck bread or crumbs. If bread becomes jammed, unplug the toaster and carefully remove the bread after it has cooled.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before plugging the toaster back in and using it.
