  • Do not leave the iron unattended while it is switched on or connected to the mains supply.
  • Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children and individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.
  • The iron must be used and rested on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Never immerse the iron, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not operate the iron if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage, or if it is leaking. Contact customer support.

3. Setup

3.1. Before First Use

  • Remove any labels, protective film, or packaging from the iron.
  • It is normal for a slight odor or smoke to be emitted during the first few minutes of use. This is due to the heating of manufacturing residues and will disappear.
  • To clean the soleplate, iron an old damp cloth for a few minutes.

3.2. Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the iron is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Set the steam control selector to the "Dry Ironing" position (no steam).
  3. Open the water filling inlet cover.
  4. Using a measuring cup, carefully pour tap water into the water tank up to the "MAX" level indicator. Do not overfill.
  5. Close the water filling inlet cover securely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Temperature Setting

Select the appropriate temperature for your fabric type using the temperature control dial. Refer to the garment's care label for guidance. The iron features 5 temperature levels.

  • Low Temperature: Synthetics, Silk
  • Medium Temperature: Wool
  • High Temperature: Cotton, Linen

Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating. Once the desired temperature is reached, the light will turn off. It will cycle on and off during ironing to maintain the temperature.

4.2. Dry Ironing

For dry ironing, ensure the water tank is empty or the steam control selector is set to the "Dry Ironing" position. Select the desired temperature and wait for the indicator light to turn off before beginning.

4.3. Steam Ironing

Steam ironing is effective for most fabrics, especially cotton and linen. Ensure the water tank is filled and the iron is heated to a high temperature (usually 3 dots or higher on the dial). Adjust the steam control selector to the desired steam level. The iron will produce continuous steam up to 55 g/min.

4.4. Steam Shot Function

For stubborn wrinkles, press the steam shot button. This releases a powerful burst of steam (255 g/min). Wait a few seconds between shots to allow the iron to reheat and build up steam pressure. This function can also be used for vertical steaming.

4.5. Spray Function

Press the spray button to lightly moisten fabrics, which can help in removing creases, especially during dry ironing.

4.6. Vertical Steaming

The steam shot function can be used for vertical steaming of hanging garments, curtains, or drapes. Hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the fabric and press the steam shot button periodically.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning the Soleplate

  • Always unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
  • Do not use metallic or abrasive scouring pads or chemical cleaners, as these can damage the soleplate.

5.2. Anti-Calc System

Your iron is equipped with an anti-calc system to reduce limescale buildup. However, regular maintenance is still recommended, especially in hard water areas.

  • To prolong the life of your iron, periodically perform a self-cleaning cycle (refer to specific instructions if available in the product packaging, or generally by filling with water, heating to max, and flushing steam).
  • If your iron has a self-clean button, use it as per instructions.

5.3. Storage

  • After use, unplug the iron and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent limescale and leakage.
  • Store the iron upright on its heel rest in a safe, dry place.
