Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using your COOKLEE Stand Mixer. Retain this manual for future reference.

• Always ensure the mixer is unplugged before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
• Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids.
• Keep hands, hair, clothing, and utensils away from moving parts during operation to prevent injury.
• Supervise children closely when the appliance is in use.
• Do not operate the mixer with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Use only attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Place the appliance on a stable, flat, dry surface.

Setup

1. Preparing the Mixer Base:

1. Place the mixer on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
2. Ensure the power cord is unplugged from the outlet.
3. Press the tilt-up knob to release and lift the motor head.

2. Attaching the Mixing Bowl:

1. Place the 8.5-quart stainless steel mixing bowl onto the base, aligning the tabs on the bowl with the slots on the base.
2. Turn the bowl clockwise until it locks securely into place.

3. Attaching Standard Mixing Accessories (Dough Hook, Flat Beater, Wire Whisk):

1. With the motor head lifted, insert the desired attachment (dough hook, flat beater, or wire whisk) onto the attachment shaft.
2. Rotate the attachment until it clicks into place.
3. Lower the motor head until it locks.
4. Attach the transparent splash guard by sliding it onto the motor head, ensuring it covers the bowl opening.

4. Attaching Specialized Accessories (Food Grinder, Blender, Slicer/Shredder, Pasta Maker):

1. Open the front attachment hub cover on the mixer head.
2. Insert the desired attachment (e.g., food grinder, blender base, slicer/shredder base) into the hub, aligning the drive shaft.
3. Rotate the attachment until it is securely locked in place.
4. For the blender, ensure the glass jar is properly seated on its base. For the slicer/shredder, insert the desired drum. For the food grinder, assemble its components (blade, plates, etc.) before attaching.

Operating Instructions

General Operation:

1. Ensure the mixer is properly assembled with the desired attachment and bowl.
2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
3. Add ingredients to the mixing bowl or attachment.
4. Turn the speed control dial to the desired setting. Start with a low speed and gradually increase as needed.
5. After use, turn the speed control dial to '0' (off) and unplug the mixer.

Specific Attachment Usage:

• Dough Hook: Ideal for kneading heavy mixtures like bread dough, pizza dough, and pasta dough. Use speeds 1-4.
• Flat Beater: Suitable for medium-heavy mixtures such as cakes, cookies, frostings, and mashed potatoes. Use speeds 2-6.
• Wire Whisk: Best for light mixtures like egg whites, cream, and light batters. Use speeds 6-10.
• Juice Blender: Attach the blender to the top hub. Use for making smoothies, purees, and sauces. Max capacity is 1.5 liters.
• Food Grinder: Attach to the front hub. Use for grinding meats. Ensure meat is cut into small pieces before feeding.
• Slicer & Shredder: Attach to the front hub. Use for slicing vegetables (e.g., cucumbers, carrots) and shredding cheese. Select the appropriate drum for desired results.
• Pasta Maker: Attach to the front hub. Use with various discs to create different pasta shapes.
• Cookie Attachments: Attach to the food grinder. Use to shape cookie dough.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your mixer.

Cleaning the Main Unit:

• Always unplug the mixer before cleaning.
• Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Cleaning Attachments and Bowl:

• The stainless steel mixing bowl, splash guard, and wire whisk are generally dishwasher safe.
• The dough hook and flat beater may be dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve their finish and prevent discoloration, especially for aluminum parts.
• For the food grinder, slicer/shredder, and pasta maker attachments, disassemble all parts and wash them thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry immediately to prevent rust or corrosion.
• The blender glass jar can be washed with warm, soapy water.
