4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To clean the phone, use a soft, dry, anti-static cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth with mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials as these can damage the plastic enclosure and displays.
4.2 Environmental Considerations
Operate the phone within recommended temperature and humidity ranges. Avoid exposing the phone to direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, or dust. Ensure proper ventilation around the device.
5. Troubleshooting
- Phone Does Not Power On: Verify that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to a PoE-enabled port on your network switch. If not using PoE, ensure a compatible 5V/2A DC power adapter is connected and functioning.
- No Dial Tone or Cannot Make/Receive Calls: Check the network cable connection. Ensure the phone has successfully registered with your SIP server (indicated by the line status on the main display). Contact your network administrator or VoIP service provider for SIP registration issues.
- Poor Sound Quality (Crackling/Distortion): Check the handset and headset connections. Ensure the network connection is stable and has sufficient bandwidth. If using a Bluetooth headset, ensure it is fully charged and within range.
- Bluetooth Disconnections: Ensure the Bluetooth headset is fully charged and within the recommended operating range of the phone. Re-pair the Bluetooth device if issues persist.
- Display Not Working: Restart the phone by disconnecting and reconnecting the power/Ethernet cable. If the issue persists, contact technical support.
