1. Getting Started

1.1 Package Contents

Before you begin, ensure all items are present in your GoPro HERO package:

1.2 Charging the Battery

The GoPro HERO comes with a rechargeable battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the battery before first use.

1. Connect the included USB-C cable to the camera's USB-C port.

A microSD card is required to store photos and videos. A 64GB microSD card is included in this bundle.

1. Locate the microSD card slot on the camera.
2. Insert the microSD card with the label facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, press the card in until it springs out.
