2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Components
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all listed parts are present:

2.2 Installation
- Attach Brackets: If not already attached, securely slide the extendable brackets onto both ends of the light fixture.
- Position Light: Place the light fixture on top of your aquarium. Adjust the extendable brackets to fit the length of your tank, ensuring the light is centered and stable. It is recommended to use a glass lid to protect the light from water splashes.
- Connect Controller: Plug the light fixture's cable into the external controller.
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the external controller, then plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
3. Operating Instructions
The NICREW RGB+W 24/7 LED Aquarium Light offers various modes and customization options via its external controller and wireless remote.
3.1 Remote Control Overview

The remote control provides comprehensive command over programming, memory slots, and weather modes. Key functions include:
- Power Button: Turns the light on/off.
- MAX Button: Engages all LEDs to the brightest setting.
- TIME Button: Used to set the current time of day on the controller.
- 24/7 Button: Activates the 24/7 timer mode.
- P1-P5 Buttons: Used to program and select different lighting phases within the 24/7 mode.
- +/- Buttons: Adjusts hours/minutes for time setting or brightness intensity.
- RAMP Button: Selects ramp-up/down time (0/15/30 minutes).
- DEMO Button: Demonstrates an accelerated 24-hour photocycle.
- Preset Modes (Cloudy, Thunder, Sunny, Moon): Engages pre-programmed weather effects.
- M1-M4 Buttons: Memory function to store and recall up to four preferred color combinations.
- W, R, G, B Buttons with Arrows: Adjusts the intensity of White, Red, Green, and Blue LED channels. Each press increases/decreases output by 10%.
3.2 Setting the Current Time
- Ensure the controller is in 24/7 mode by pressing the 24/7 button on the remote. The LCD display will show the current time.
- Press the TIME button. The hour display will flash. Use the HOUR +/- buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press the TIME button again. The minute display will flash. Use the MINUTE +/- buttons to adjust the minute.
- Press the TIME button one more time to save the settings. The light will automatically enter its preset 24-hour mode.
3.3 Programming Lighting Phases (24/7 Mode)
The 24/7 mode features 5 customizable lighting phases (P1-P5) that simulate a natural circadian rhythm. Each phase has a start time and adjustable White, Red, Green, and Blue light intensities.

- Select Phase: Press the desired phase button (e.g., P1) briefly. The LCD display will show "P1" and flash a time.
- Set Start Time: Use the HOUR +/- and MINUTE +/- buttons to set the start time for this phase. Press the phase button again to save.
- Adjust Colors/Intensity: While the phase is active (or after setting its time), use the W, R, G, B buttons and their respective UP/DOWN arrows to adjust the intensity of each color channel. Each press adjusts by 10%.
- Repeat for all 5 phases (P1-P5) to customize your full 24/7 lighting schedule.
3.4 Weather Modes

The remote includes buttons for four preset weather modes to simulate natural conditions:
- Cloudy Mode: Simulates an overcast day.
- Thunder Mode: Creates a lightning effect.
- Sunny Mode: Provides bright, full-spectrum light.

Press the corresponding button on the remote to activate the desired weather mode.
3.5 Memory Function
The remote allows you to save up to four custom color combinations (M1, M2, M3, M4) for quick recall.
- Save: Adjust the W, R, G, B channels to your desired levels. Hold down the desired memory button (M1-M4) for 3 seconds until the light blinks, indicating the setting is saved.
- Recall: Briefly press the desired memory button (M1-M4) to recall the saved setting.
