Safety Information
Always read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the generator. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death.
- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide, a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. Operate the generator outdoors only, far away from windows, doors, and vents.
- Fire Hazard: Gasoline is highly flammable. Store fuel in an approved container in a well-ventilated area. Do not refuel a hot or running engine.
- Electrical Shock Hazard: Do not operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure proper grounding. Never connect the generator directly to a building's electrical system without an approved transfer switch installed by a qualified electrician.
- Hot Surfaces: The generator's engine and muffler become very hot during operation and remain hot for a period after shutdown. Avoid contact to prevent burns.
- Moving Parts: Keep hands, feet, hair, and clothing away from moving parts to prevent injury.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the generator at all times.

- Powerdial: Integrates Off, Run, and Cold Start settings into one simple control for easy operation.
- AC Outlets: Includes 120V AC MAX 19.2A outlets and an RV-ready outlet for versatile power connections.
- LED Indicators: Alerts for low oil, overload, and ready-for-use status.
- Fuel Cap: Located on top for easy access to the fuel tank.
- Recoil Starter: Manual pull-start mechanism.
- Integrated Handle: For easy portability.
Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the generator from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
- Add Engine Oil:
The generator is shipped without engine oil. Before first use, add the recommended engine oil (typically 10W-30) up to the full mark on the dipstick. Use the provided oil funnel for convenience. The low-oil level shutdown feature protects the engine from damage if oil levels are insufficient.
- Add Fuel:
Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline (minimum 87 octane). Do not overfill. Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened. The tank volume is 1.06 gallons.
- Grounding:
For safety, ensure the generator is properly grounded. Consult local electrical codes for specific grounding requirements.
Operating
Starting the Generator:
- Place the generator on a flat, level surface outdoors, away from combustible materials and at least 20 feet from any building openings.
- Ensure all electrical devices are disconnected from the generator outlets.
- Turn the Powerdial to the "COLD START" position if the engine is cold, or "RUN" if the engine is warm.
- Pull the recoil starter handle firmly and steadily until the engine starts. Allow the engine to run for a few moments.
- Once the engine is running smoothly, turn the Powerdial to the "RUN" position (if it was on "COLD START").
- Connect your electrical devices to the appropriate outlets. The RPMplus technology will automatically adjust engine speed based on load demand, optimizing fuel efficiency and reducing noise.
Stopping the Generator:
- Disconnect all electrical devices from the generator outlets.
- Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
- Turn the Powerdial to the "OFF" position.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and reliable operation of your generator.
- Check Engine Oil: Check the engine oil level before each use. Add oil if necessary.
- Clean Air Filter: Inspect and clean the air filter regularly, more often in dusty conditions.
- Spark Plug: Inspect and clean the spark plug periodically. Replace if worn.
- Fuel System: Drain the fuel system if storing the generator for an extended period (over 30 days) to prevent fuel degradation.
- General Cleaning: Keep the generator clean and free of debris.
Refer to the full owner's manual (included with your purchase) for a detailed maintenance schedule and procedures.
