4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the Vacuum Cleaner

1. Place the motor head securely onto the tank. Ensure it is properly latched.
2. Attach the flexible hose to the suction inlet on the tank. For dry/wet vacuuming, connect to the main inlet. For blowing function, connect to the exhaust outlet (if applicable).
3. Connect the extension tubes to the hose handle.
4. Attach the desired nozzle (floor nozzle, shampoo nozzle, or crevice tool) to the end of the extension tubes.

4.2 Filling the Shampoo Tank (for Shampoo Cleaning)

1. Locate the external shampoo tank.
2. Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with a suitable cleaning solution (shampoo) diluted according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not overfill.
3. Securely close the cap.
4. Connect the transparent shampoo spray line from the hose to the outlet on the shampoo tank.

5. Operating Modes

The Klarstein cleanroom 2G offers three primary operating modes:

5.1 Dry Vacuuming

• Ensure the tank is empty and dry.
• Install the appropriate filter for dry vacuuming (e.g., paper filter bag or cartridge filter, refer to filter instructions).
• Connect the hose to the main suction inlet.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable outlet.
• Turn on the appliance using the power switch.
• Use the floor nozzle or crevice tool to vacuum dust and dry debris.

5.2 Wet Vacuuming

• Remove any dry filters (e.g., paper filter bag). A foam filter or no filter may be required for wet vacuuming, consult filter instructions.
• Connect the hose to the main suction inlet.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable outlet.
• Turn on the appliance.
• Use the floor nozzle to pick up spilled liquids or dirty water. The appliance has an automatic shut-off feature that activates when the tank reaches maximum capacity to prevent overfilling.
• Empty the tank immediately after wet vacuuming.

5.3 Shampoo Cleaning (Carpet/Upholstery Washing)

• Ensure the shampoo tank is filled with diluted cleaning solution as described in Section 4.2.
• Attach the shampoo nozzle to the extension tubes.
• Connect the transparent shampoo spray line to the nozzle.
• Plug the power cord into a suitable outlet.
• Turn on the appliance. The vacuum will start, and the pump for the shampoo solution will also activate.
• Press the trigger on the hose handle to spray the cleaning solution onto the surface.
• Move the shampoo nozzle slowly over the area, spraying and simultaneously vacuuming the dirty solution. This process extracts dirt and moisture from the fibers.
• Repeat passes as necessary until the water extracted appears clean.
• After cleaning, run clean water through the shampoo system to flush out any remaining detergent.
